September Angel Message: Light in the Darkness

Happy September and Happy Fall! Again this month I tuned into my guides and angels and received a beautiful & hopeful message. I hope it brings you healing and peace. Have a beautiful month and all my love. There are times in life when the light of Peace seems dim. You may be in one of those times now, or you may be coming out of one. We wish to tell you that even when Love seems distant, especially when Love seems distant, Love is nearer than your next breath. Love is always with you. It seems trite, but it’s true. Love is with each of you, with all of you. It can be no other way. To understand why this Love seems distant, go within. Where...

Keep Shining

For my post this month I tuned into my angels and guides and received a message from them. I found it very helpful and I hope you do as well! Do not despair, neither shall thou be afraid. Humanity is awakening at this time. These are birthing pains, growing pains, the pains that are present when life changes from one form to another. Don’t be fooled by appearances, because what’s going on is much more significant than what can be seen with the eye. I don’t mean to alarm or scare you, only to enlighten you. Enlighten means to shed light, which is what is happening in your world. Keep engaging with the practices and the texts that bring you joy, for that is your true nature....

Hope in Things Unseen

In times of sadness or confusion, it helps me to remember that we are part of a greater, Godly reality. This week I've felt the pressure of parenting, career, finances, marriage, and holiday stress. It's easy to get lost in the tangible world and lose the tether to our greater reason for being here. While I love the bliss I experienced when I initially had my encounter with the Divine, and I attempt to connect to that peace regularly through prayer and meditation, I'm just not always going to feel that connected, joyful, and peaceful. This week was one of those times. I have felt stress. I have worried. I have wished for peace. When that happens, as it does, it helps me to get still, breathe,...

Believing in an Unseen World

When I first had my experience of God, I truly believed I was going crazy. I was not raised to believe that another side of life existed and was ready to check myself into the hospital. But several things gave me pause. One, my experience was beautiful, and it made me feel very joyful and very peaceful. Two, I met and talked with people who were conversant in the spiritual world and found it completely ordinary that something like that would happen to a person. It became more and more okay for me to accept the reality of a spiritual world as I accepted my experience. The bigger work was learning that the spiritual world was not more important than the physical world, but equally so....

Connecting with God

It doesn’t have to be hard to connect with God. It doesn’t have to be complicated or difficult. You can connect with God at any time because God created you, and God lives in your heart at all times. At all times. You can truly never be separate from God. You can merely be aware of God or not. Why connect with God? If your life is going fine, you might not feel like it’s important. If you are feeling lost, depressed, or sad, connecting with God can help you remember how loved you are, and help you return to your true life’s purpose. I didn’t connect with God until I’d reached the end of what I could do in the world of the senses. How can one...

From Fear to Faith

Living in fear means being disconnected from your heart, your source, and your true self. Fear can manifest as anxiety, anger, depression, and insomnia, to name a few. It can make your mind race and make you wilt. Though it may seem difficult in the middle of a fearful moment to see the way out, you don’t have to stay there. There is a pathway out of fear, and I believe it goes through your heart.  After my trauma and childhood, I lived in a constant state of fear. It became second nature for me to live this way. I had difficulty sleeping. I had anxiety. I always felt shut down. Though it manifested as a diagnosis of P.T.S.D., it felt much different than that. It felt...

God and Religion

How do God and Religion go together? After my experience, that question came to the forefront of my mind very regularly. It still does. Having come from a mixed religious family and having a love of many religions, I’ve often struggled to make my experience make sense in a strictly religious way. I will say, many parts of the Bible made much, much more sense to me after my experience. But the prescribed ways of being in all the traditions to which I'd been exposed couldn’t encapsulate the beauty I saw in my experience. As I wrote in my bio, my father is Jewish, and my mother is Christian. Having been raised Jewish, I had a Bat Mitzvah at 13, and went Synagogue my whole...

Keeping the Faith

Keeping the faith in times of darkness, sadness, or confusion, can seem impossible, but it is doable. Stay strong and grounded in the hope of things to come – truly, things that are already so, but hard to discern on the earthly plane. When we are able to center ourselves in our spiritual reality, we can experience heaven on earth in this moment. Despite any appearances to the contrary, God is in everything.  During my experience with God, which you can read about more here, I felt true peace in a way I had not thought possible beforehand. I experienced so much beauty, light, and joy by connecting to God that I became seriously sad and depressed when I looked out into the world after my...
