We’re all on the same team, and every effort you make to rise and live in alignment with your truest nature – love –brings untold blessings to you and to your entire world. October Angel Message: Hope in the Dark

Hi and happy October! Here's the angel message for the month. Enjoy and lots of love. Have hope, even on the darkest days and longest nights. What you can’t see, we can. We see humanity learning, growing, and weaving together through the generations. We see brothers and sisters reconciling through forgiveness to peace. We know it can seem like a distant dream. We are aware of the human situation on your planet at this time. We wish you not to despair, but to have hope. Trust your inner guidance for direction. Let God and your angels guide you on each step of your path. And has it not been said, “be thou not afraid, for I am with you?” Truer words were never spoken. Let us guide you,...

November Angel Message: Flowing

Here is November's monthly message from the angels. Enjoy! Allow yourself to flow. The human mind wishes to analyze, calculate, and figure everything out. That, too, has its place, but this weighing is not everything. There is so much more to life, right in this moment. How is your heart? Where is your breath? You, too, are a spark of the Divine, the face of love. “If you could see yourself the way God sees you, you would smile a lot.” Imagine the love you have for a child but multiplied a thousandfold. You are God’s beloved. So don’t worry, and don’t fret. Know how loved you are and allow yourself to simply be. In the moments when you forget yourself, you shine the brightest. Allow...

Dream of the Heart

I have just awakened from a beautiful and insightful dream. In it, I was remembering how to ignite my heart, and how to make it feel love. My thoughts in the dream were loud. I was speaking them and living within them. "It can be harder as an adult to feel love," I said in the dream. "Life can take over! But once I remember to connect to my heart and feel love, it is so much stronger than it was when I was a child." The love in my heart was so strong at the end of this dream. It was burning. Then I awoke. I hope that dream is helpful for you to hear! Especially since becoming a mom I've found that I can get swayed into...

Worthy of Love

You are worthy of love. You are God's own creation. You can remind yourself of this truth by saying mantras throughout the day, such as "God loves me," "I am worthy of love," or "I am love." I was reminded of this truth in my meditation this morning. Knowing that you are loved just as you are heals many wounds. You don't have to do or be anything special. You already are special, exactly the way you are. It became a part of many of our childhood experiences that one was better than another. We learned to compete, and to feel separate from love. Return to your highest truth by letting love in, all the way to your heart. This is not something we need to think...

Trusting your Heart

Our hearts are the inner compasses that guide our lives. They are our connection to Source. When we heed our hearts' wishes, we honor our truest selves. We may choose to ignore it, especially when its yearnings seem hard or not in keeping with our ego's wishes, but we will eventually return to it. When we honor our hearts, we step into our truest natures. Following the thread of my heart led me to my greatest healing. By getting still and quiet, I learned my heart's wishes. It also eventually led to my experience of the Divine. In the beginning, honoring my heart was a joyful exercise. I was happy to have found a connection to my truest self after being so disconnected. While connecting to my...

How I learned to Trust my Heart: Some Ideas and Inspiration

If you’re reading this, you may be searching for a way to listen to yourself, and your heart. Trusting your heart seems like a simple proclamation, but in our world of separation, it may be one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. The first question that must be asked is, why trust your heart? What is the point of it? In my upbringing, I was raised to trust my mind. I had no awareness of my heart or inner self until breakdowns forced me to get to know myself from the inside. I learned that trusting your heart is truly the way to a happy life. Your heart holds your inner wisdom and is your connection to God or Source. Your heart is where love...

Returning to the Heart

Thank you so much to those of who were following along on my journey in the hospital last week. I was admitted for three days and given all sorts of tests which came up clear, which was great news. They released me to the care of my primary care physician and a neurologist. So far most possibilities have been ruled out, but the numbness in my arm and my legs persists.  In the end, the doctor asked me if I was experiencing anxiety or depression. I realized that while I became pretty good at taking care of myself before I had a family, becoming a mom, getting married, and working have really put my own well-being on the back burner. Maybe I wasn’t monitoring myself as...

Starting Your Day

Waking up each day you begin with a clean slate. In dreams you reconnect with your source and are renewed. When you wake, in whatever way is best for you, nurture your connection to God and be gentle with yourself. Can you take a deep breath? Can you be kind to your body? As a mom it’s easy for me to want to hit the ground running, and sometimes I must. In the past year I’ve begun waking before everyone else, around 4:30 or 5 am – my best and only true quiet time, which allows me to begin the day slowly, from my heart, and to write these reflections to you. It has helped me immensely to feel connected to my life’s purpose and...

Home is in the Heart

As a storm prepares to hit my hometown, I’m reminded that home is not outside of us, but within us. When everything was taken away after Katrina, a storm my family survived but in which we lost much, I learned that lesson in the extreme. Never before had I been so grateful for my friends and family. Never before had I felt so close to all the people I had known growing up there, people I normally took for granted. Eventually, things evened back out, but obviously occurrences like these are not always predictable. Our world is full of unpredictable events such as wildfires, tornadoes, hurricanes, and more. We can’t always know how our world will look tomorrow, but it if we are able to...
