Using Your Will in Alignment with Divine Guidance

As we enter 2021, I felt called to write about finding the balance between using your will and following your inner guidance. Your will is the power you use to create things in the world. Your inner guidance is the promptings you receive from your higher self, spirit guides, and God as to the best path for your soul. Ideally, your will be in balance with your higher guidance. Finding the balance between the two is the sweet spot that will help you create beauty in your life and in the lives of those around you.

Before my experience and before learning to heal, I used my will to create that which I wanted in my life. I did not have a sense of something higher to tune into and solely created from my ego. That was my “before” life, which consisted of impressive things on my resume but little joy or happiness. It was all I knew how to do. Has anyone else been there? I know I’m not alone.

After I started to heal and after my experience with the light, I learned how to tune into higher guidance and my intuition. I truly felt guided on my path, especially in the beginning of my journey. As I healed more, I learned I needed to actively tune into my higher self and guides to discern what was my highest path. God is there but we have to reach our hearts out to God. Often, I ceased attempting to use my will to create, and only wanted God and my guides to create for me. I was scared of making mistakes or getting off of my soul path, as I had been before I started healing.

I’ve since learned that we are here to create hand in hand with our souls. God can’t do it for us. We can receive the guidance, but we need to use our wills to create it. It is a delicate balance, and it can seem hard, but we have a lot of help from the other side.

How do you know what your soul wishes for you? How can you figure out your highest path? Sit in silence, connect with your guides and angels, and ask for guidance with a sincere heart. Once you know your next steps, use your will to create this vision in the world. If it comes from your soul, you will benefit not only you, but all of us.
