The Soul Space
Sending greetings from this new normal of pandemic life. It’s definitely a different world to adjust to. Everything in my life has become very small: small orbit, small income, small child. We have spent a lot of time in our yard and walking around the neighborhood, taking many things very slowly.
How are you? How have you and yours been faring? I know many lives have been changed in different ways and I hope you’ve been safe, healthy, and cared for.
I’ve been thinking a lot this week about what it’s like to live within the soul space. There are times in my life when I’ve been there, and many times when I haven’t. When I’m living in my soul space I feel very light, joyful, and expansive. Things in my life feel like they click into place better, and with less effort and distress. It comes from being aligned with my soul’s path and truth, and living from that space.
The best way I’ve found to connect to my soul space is to spend time in silence connecting with my heart and with God. Meditating, breathing, and trusting the still, small voice helps me to get aligned. So does trusting in God’s love and noticing all the things there are to be grateful for.
I’ve found that I’ve been getting closer to that place since all this happened. Maybe it was the major reduction in my work, or maybe it’s more time spent outside. I’ve been praying and meditating about the same as I did before, but maybe there’s less distraction.
It’s felt really beautiful to get back to this place of inner peace, love, and serenity. It feels like sunshine, clouds clearing, calm returning.
What are some ways you connect to your soul space? I wish you so much peace, joy, and love on this journey. Hang in there.
