Takeaways from Suzanne Giesemann’s Training

Good morning!

I’m blogging a day early this week to write about my takeaways from the amazing training I took with Suzanne Giesemann! I am so grateful I followed spirit and signed up for her class. As I wrote in a previous post, I was not intending to explore mediumship. I prayed to my guides to show me a teacher, and dreamt that night that I was in her class. The following week I saw that she was coming to teach in Savannah, GA, and enrolled in her Serving Spirit Level 1 class. I am so happy I did!

Here are my takeaways and what I learned.

Spirit is always with us and our guides are always with us. We may need to ask them for assistance, but they don’t leave us. This was a huge learning point for me. After my experience of the Light, I felt a little alone. If you’ve read my story, you know that I had this beautiful experience of Light and God and then got “dropped off,” where I felt like God and the angels stepped back. For a long time I cried and felt like they’d truly left me. I received guidance this weekend that my guides never left me, they were just letting me learn how to stand on my own in this world. I needed to be in a place to work with them as a partner, not as someone who dissolved into them as I was attempting to do. I can’t blame myself, though. Their world was so much more beautiful than the world I had experienced!

Which brings me to the next important thing I learned. We can create heaven or hell on our earth by our energy and how connected we are to love. OK. I knew this already, but I didn’t really understand it, and it seems like something I needed to learn again. I have had times of feeling extremely light and connected to God, and times where I feel worried and far away. I really learned this weekend that I could connect to love and to God easily and at anytime and change my entire experience.

I was also reminded of the importance of SERVICE. Of course, I’ve known about this, but I forget about it regularly. I get caught up in my mind and my worries and I lose the purpose of all of this. Service to spirit, to God, and to humankind is the reason we do spiritual work. It’s all about the love.

Finally, I learned that I like mediumship and I hope to practice it more in the future. As I said above, I really wasn’t intending to learn mediumship, but I think it’s very beautiful and just part of the continuum of connecting to spirit, love, and God. It will help me in my Reiki practice as well. I’ve often felt my clients’ loved ones pop through in healings and I’ve never known what to say or do. Now I feel like I can more confidently deliver any messages they’ve come to share.

Thanks so much for reading! If you’ve ever thought about taking one of her classes online or in person, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!!! Sending all my love!
